Provides a means of attaching levelling feet or castors to the base of chairs, beds, tables, benches, shelving units | anything that has hollow tube legs.
> Only metal threaded inserts (with a long thread) are suitable for castors.
Easy to install, with the inserts generally tapped into place.
Our threaded tube inserts are designed to be shaved/filed down to fit 'non-standard' tubes.

With the downgrade of funding through Home Care Packages, I have to be more creative in supplying aids for my Caree. Instead of getting a wheeled commode from a disability store, I purchased a commode online and replaced the castors with medical grade castors for about a tenth of the price of disability industry products. The commode now works very well even on carpet. (FYI; The two hour rule has resulted in a reduction in funding for appliances and Physios etc.)
