Solid Polyurethane (PU) Foam Wheel | Ø300mm (12") x 80mm | 200KG capacity per wheel
Ø300mm (12") x 80mm Solid Polyurethane (PU) Foam Wheel | 200KG capacity per wheel
FOAM - WHERE AND WHY?
A special layer of polyurethane foam is bound to the inner surface of the wheel tread, to absorb cavity noise and prevent body transmission. In other words, it prevents vibration from being transferred from the tread to the wheel, axle and, eventually, the 'cabin', reducing the noise when the wheel is in use.
> solid rubber foam tread + nylon rim = stands up to the harshest conditions
> hub cover to increase life of the bearings
> lasts longer than pneumatic (air-filled) wheels
> will never go 'flat' as there is no air pressure inside to leak out
> puncture proof | sharp objects will not effect penetration
> wear resisting
> housing is powder coated corrosion resistant
low speed applications | to be rolled over pebbles, grass and dirt | popular on hostile work sites: landfills and quarries | also often chosen just due to their 'bling' factor
