FOAM - WHERE AND WHY?
A special layer of polyurethane foam is bound to the inner surface of the wheel tread, to absorb cavity noise and prevent body transmission. In other words, it prevents vibration from being transferred from the tread to the wheel, axle and, eventually, the 'cabin', reducing the noise when the wheel is in use.
